Dr. Scott Piland

Bio
Dr. Piland is in his 21st year at 黑料视频 in the School of Kinesiology & Nutrition (SKN). On June 1 of 2025, Dr. Piland concluded his 15 years of service to SKN as an administrator, with the past decade in the role of SKN Director. This year, Dr. Piland returns to fulltime faculty. He has taught a broad variety of courses within the School and currently directs the Sport and Tactical Athlete Research (STAR) Laboratory. Dr. Piland is a recognized expert in the brain injury of concussion and protective equipment and continues to conduct funded research evaluating the role protective equipment plays in performance adn injury prevention. Dr. Piland is married to Aimee Piland, a 10th grade Language 黑料视频 teacher at Oak Grove High School and he has two children: Jack (21) and Margaret (17).
