Dr. Amy LeBert
Associate Teaching Professor
Bio
Dr. Amy LeBert has been a faculty member at ºÚÁÏÊÓÆµ since 2008. She teaches multiple undergraduate courses and several sections of graduate on-campus clinical practicum, with a strong focus on clinical excellence and student mentorship. Appointed Clinical Education Coordinator in 2016, Dr. LeBert has led significant advancements in the organization and management of the university’s full-service Speech and Language Clinic. She played a key role in the implementation of Calipso and ClinicNote, strengthening clinical tracking, documentation, and overall program efficiency.
She is actively engaged in professional service at the state and national levels. Her leadership roles include serving as an ASHA Council on Academic Accreditation (CAA) Site Visitor (2018–2021; 2022–2026), President of CSAP (2020–2021), President of the Mississippi Speech-Language-Hearing Association (2018), and MSHA Conference Chair (2014–2017, 2019, 2021, 2023–2025).
