Dr. Jay Howell
Associate Professor
Bio
Dr. Howell is Interim Associate Director, Associate Professor of Education, and Program Coordinator for the Secondary Education Programs within the School of Education. He grew up in the public schools of Mobile, AL and attended Auburn University (War Eagle!) where he received a Bachelor's degree in secondary social science education. After teaching high school history and geography in Georgia for five years, Dr. Howell returned to Auburn to complete a Master's and Ph.D. in Curriculum & Teaching.
