Dr. Kourtney Kromminga
Assistant Professor
Bio
Dr. Kromminga is an Assistant Professor in the School Psychology Program. She received her doctorate from the University of Minnesota and completed her pre-doctoral internship at High Plains Psychology Internship Consortium.
Dr. Kromminga's research focuses on improving academic outcomes for children and adolescents by examining behavioral and academic factors that impact achievement. Her work broadly aims to inform data-based decision making in schools by identifying effective assessment and intervention practices within a MTSS/RtI framework. A central area of her research examines the use and efficacy of educational technology to support the development of academic skills, particularly in math.
Dr. Kromminga has expertise in a range of research methodologies, including single-case experimental designs, group-based designs, and meta-analytic methods.
